Faith Wara
I’m Faith and I’m responsible for sourcing content here at Yyoma.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with family and friends at BBQs, playing tennis, and setting up theme parties for children. When I am working, I relish the opportunity to help expand Yyoma’s unique educational video offering as best as I can.
As a student in my spare time, I’m studying towards my BSc in Applied Accounting with the ACCA. I love numbers. I love mathematics. And I love learning things on the internet. I never stop.
Currently I live in Zimbabwe, where the majority of people are black. For me this means that representation matters hugely. The demand for diverse content is not the same as it is in the UK or the US.
The reason I chose to join Yyoma is because I wanted to be a part of a team whose vision is to teach our little ones their heritage and culture, and to accept and love who they already are.
Speaking to different content creators, animators, and authors, I stop at nothing to achieve this aim.
…
A fun fact about me: something else I love doing is dedicating a whole afternoon to creating a dance routine for Tik Tok. I love being part of world culture, and putting something of myself out there for others to see. What do you do in your spare time?
